In FY 2019, total US government revenue, federal, state, and local, was “guesstimated” to be $6.90 trillion. Federal revenue was $3.46 trillion; state revenue was “guesstimated” at $2.05 trillion; local revenue was “guesstimated” at $1.39 trillion.
Government revenue was badly hit in recent recessions.
